| Why register with DodecanesianDream Online Community Portal? |
Register with us and keep up-to-date with the latest news regarding the Dodecanesian Diaspora around the world and your Dodecanesian island/village of origin.
Our aim is to bring us all together and to network among us and share our common interests, get to know our migratory history and exchange memories from the past.
You may also search and find an old friend from your village, and also share your migratory stories and memories with others who have migrated or the new generation of Dodecanesians.

| Will anything change if I register? |
Yes it will. The Dodecanesian Online Community Portal has developed all its functionalities in such a way as to reflect the Dodecanesians who still live in the Dodecanese islands and those that are part of our Dodecanesian Diaspora.
Through the DodecanesianDream your voice will be heard, your problems and requests will reach the right people and together we can work out solutions for problems that affect our Dodecanesian Community.
Our members are able of communicate with each other, participate in the online forums and conventions and, also, their requests can reach the authorities directly.

| Who can register? |
This is an Online Community that anyone can join but directly concerns: all the Dodecanesians who are still living in Greece; those who are part of our Dodecanesian Diaspora in any country of the world; those currently living or working in any Dodecanesian island; anyone who has property on a Dodecanesian Island and most importantly, all those Dodecanesians who migrated from the 12 island-group and who have since started a new life abroad and realized their dream for a better life.

| What subjects will be discussed? |
Our aim is to use the online forum and messaging systems in order to discuss major problems affecting our local community and issues concerning our diaspora.
The DodecanesianDream team will post the forum topics to be discussed by our members. You may also request a new forum topic.

| May I discuss and participate in online discussions anonymously? |
Your full name is mandatory, however, and will be visible to other members. Your full name may not include a fake name, random characters or nicknames.
All the pages you create, all the reviews and comments, forum topics and replies, and generally any posts our members do in the DodecanesianDream Online Community must have the full name of the member who submitted it.

| What kind of personal information is required during registration? |
We need to create a database but the main purpose will not be to keep your sensitive personal information but rather to give us the opportunity to draw conclusions and get statistic figures about the Dodecanesian Diaspora. Information such as your full name, your age, the Dodecanesian Island/Village of your origin and the country you currently live in are mandatory in order to give us enough data about our emigrants.

| What about the privacy of my personal information? |
Your email address will not be made available to any third parties. It is only used to confirm your registration and allow the system to send you notification if a member tries to contact you or when you have a new message in your DodecanesianDream messaging system.
Your birth date is required only for your registration and only you have the power to make it visible to other members or not.
Your full name is mandatory, however, and will be visible to other members. Your full name may not include a fake name, random characters or nicknames.
